THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOUR STAY

We're the Ices.
Santa Fe is the reason.

Three generations. Two homes. One family that happens to host two of the best stays in Santa Fe.

Noel and Lee Ice in Santa Fe

Noel and Lee on the land they called home.

HOW IT STARTED

Lee and Noel.
Fort Worth to Santa Fe, 1988.

In 1988, our grandparents — Grandma Lee Ice and Grandpa Noel Ice — moved from Fort Worth, Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico. They lived there for over 30 years, and in doing so, introduced the whole family to the beauty and enchantment of this place.

We called Texas home, but we spent most Christmases and summers here. Some of our fondest memories as kids were hiking amidst ponderosa pines and aspens, Christmas eves on Canyon Road, Grandma Lee's green chile stew, the smell of burning piñon wood, window shopping on the Plaza, and watching sunsets over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Santa Fe has held a special place in our hearts ever since. It's a city with the perks of outdoor mountain life, but also soul and timelessness with its culture and art.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

Jamey and Melissa.
Two homes, one family.

Jamey and Melissa Ice purchased and lovingly restored both Casa de Camino and Casa de Ice as an homage to Grandma Lee and Grandpa Noel — and to create a place for their own children to experience a city that shaped the whole family.

Jamey grew up in Fort Worth. Before renovation projects, he and his brother Geoff spent a stretch of their twenties touring the country in a band called Green River Ordinance — Billboard Top 40, a lot of bars, a lot of vans. The music years gave way to business. Jamey built 6th Avenue Homes, a renovation company in Fort Worth. Geoff and his wife Abbi built Ice & Co. Southern Hard Tea.

The homes are family homes that double as vacation rentals — fully renovated, fully loved, fully ours. When our family visits Santa Fe, we stay here. When yours visits, we hope it feels the same way.

HOW WE HOST

Our family owns it.
Our Santa Fe team runs it.

At a lot of luxury rentals, a guest messages in and gets a chatbot. Something goes wrong at midnight and nobody picks up. The owner has never slept in the house and couldn't tell you where the firewood is.

Not here.

Casa de Ice and Casa de Camino are owned and renovated by our family — and looked after by our own Santa Fe team, led by Gustavo Reyes. When something goes sideways, and something sometimes does, you're texting Gustavo or one of us directly. Not a corporate inbox.

That's the whole thing. A family that happens to host two of the best homes in Santa Fe.

THE REST OF US

The Ices,
collectively.

If you spend any time reading about the Ice family, you'll find threads in a lot of directions. Melissa (Jamey's wife) founded The Net, a nonprofit in Fort Worth that supports survivors of human trafficking, and co-founded Worthy Co., a women-led brand that employs women from that community. Abbi and Geoff built Ice & Co. Southern Hard Tea, a Texas-based beverage brand inspired by the South. Geoff Sr. and Marie — Lee and Noel's son and daughter-in-law — are the grandparents in the middle, the ones who taught the next generation about Santa Fe.

Faith runs through all of it, but quietly. We're not here to preach. We're here to make sure your trip is everything you hoped it would be.
