ABOUT CASA DE ICE

A 1950s adobe, rebuilt for the way families travel now.

Originally built in the mid-century as a traditional Santa Fe adobe, Casa de Ice has been completely reimagined by the Ice family. We didn't just want to renovate; we wanted to create a vessel for experiences.

Set on 17 private acres with no neighbor in sight, the home offers a rare combination of absolute seclusion and immediate proximity to the best of Santa Fe.

The interior design blends organic textures with modern functionality. Whether you're here for a milestone birthday or a quiet wellness retreat, the land and the home work together to help you slow down.

THE FIREPIT

THE FIREPIT

Four Seasons-inspired. More forgiving than the real thing.

The massive outdoor firepit was designed for hours of conversation. It's the heart of the home after sunset, surrounded by 17 acres of pinon-scented silence.

WELLNESS

WELLNESS

Hot tub. Sauna. Cold plunge. In that order, or yours.

The original greenhouse off the courtyard was rebuilt as a sunroom, and it holds the infrared sauna and the 54-degree cold plunge. The 104-degree hot tub is a few steps away in the walled courtyard.

GAME ROOM

GAME ROOM

A pool table, a vintage arcade, and a fitness corner.

When the sun goes down, the action moves inside. A full-size pool table, multi-game arcade cabinet, and enough space for the whole group to hang out.

17 ACRES

17 ACRES

Seventeen acres of high desert, all yours.

Piñon, juniper, cactus, and sky — no neighbors in sight, and sunsets in every direction. It's land to wander slowly, not a park to run through. When you want a real trail, Sun Mountain's trailhead is a two-minute drive.

I've stayed in a lot of places, and nothing has come close to this. The intention and care that went into every corner of this home is something you feel the moment you arrive.

The vibes are really cool and high end like a boutique hotel while still being very New Mexico in their casual elegance.
