THE SUNSET RETREAT · ENTIRE HOME · SUNLIT HILLS OF SANTA FE

A Santa Fe sunset retreat with Sangre de Cristo views.

Six private acres in the Sunlit Hills, where the evening's entertainment is the sky doing its thing over the Sangre de Cristos. Dinner at the ten-person table, then everyone drifts to the outdoor kiva. That's the whole pitch.

Sunlit Hills · Off Old Pecos Trail · 10 min to Canyon Road · 15 min to the Plaza

ABOUT CASA DE CAMINO

A 1980s adobe, restored for the way families travel now.

The Ice family purchased and lovingly restored this 1980s adobe home as an homage to their grandparents — Grandma Lee and Grandpa Noel Ice, who moved to Santa Fe in 1988 and spent over 30 years here introducing the whole family to the enchantment of this place.

Enjoy a modern twist on Santa Fe living with a large six-bedroom estate on 6 acres of New Mexico's natural beauty. While soaking up the day in the hot tub or catching Georgia O'Keeffe–worthy sunsets around the outdoor kiva fireplace, Casa de Camino delivers the kind of quiet that's getting harder to find.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you arrive.

  • ! The outdoor terrain is natural high desert — cactus, yucca, rocky areas, steep flagstone stairs. Use caution, especially with children and elderly guests.
  • ! The commercial range uses manual ignition — burners must be lit with a lighter. Pilot lights are intentionally disabled for safety.
  • ! Hot tub cover is for insulation only — do not sit or stand on it. No alarm on the hot tub; supervise children at all times.
  • ! Sound travels in the back arroyo. Even conversation carries to neighboring properties after quiet hours.
  • ! Exterior security cameras at the pergola, front door, and exterior door.
